Dr. Ken Hemphill is responsible for Back in Motion’s Human Resources Department, including strategic planning, policy development, hiring, pay and benefits, and staff development. He completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of British Columbia in 1996, and began work with Back in Motion Rehab in 1997. Ken is registered with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia, and is a member of the British Columbia, Canadian and American Psychological Associations.
In his years with Back in Motion, Ken has worked as a Psychologist in chronic pain programs, supervised and mentored staff, and managed BC Ministry, WorkSafeBC, and private company programs.
Ken is excited about creating a work environment that combines professionalism and fun, where staff members have the opportunity to do their best and enjoy coming to work each and every day.
Ken has a twin brother who is also a Psychologist, and enjoys running, weights, and riding his motorcycle in his spare time.
