COMPASS provides a variety of comprehensive assessment services to our clients and customers with the goal of helping them to answer psychological, medical, and vocational questions. We do this through conducting specific assessments, and by providing clear, specific, and practical recommendations.
Many of our assessments assist with successful vocational planning. These assessments are designed to help clients and customers answer questions related to psychological and cognitive functioning, learning disorders, vocational skills and interests, and suitable work and training options.
Learning disorder assessments for adults (over age 16) are offered. These assessments determine whether individuals who have struggled with reading, writing, and/or mathematics meet diagnostic criteria for a specific learning disorder. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments for adults are also available. Individuals who do have a specific learning disorder and/or ADHD often qualify for special accommodations at school (including college or university). Recommendations for academic and/or work accommodations are made based on the nature and severity of the disorder.
Compass also provides psychological, medical, and interdisciplinary assessment services. These assessments provide diagnostic clarification, information on level of impairment and functional limitations, and offer treatment recommendations. Specific questions provided by the customer are also addressed.
