About Occupational Rehabilitation 2 (OR2)

Occupational Rehabilitation 2 (OR 2) is an interdisciplinary treatment program offered by Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Kinesiologists Psychologists, and Physicians. Working with the Injured Worker, their Physician, their employer and WorkSafeBC, the rehabilitation team develops a comprehensive treatment plan.

Clients are assessed and a customized treatment plan is designed to assist in improving strength, range of motion and conditioning with a focus on improving overall ability to function at home and at work. Clients can attend education sessions on topics such as healing and recovery, exercise and pain management. A job site visit assists the team in learning more about the workplace and work demands. Clients are involved every step of the way, including in the development of a graduated return to work plan. Support is provided by a team member during the graduated return to work plan, which typically lasts 4-6 weeks.

Services are offered in South Surrey, Surrey-Newton, Vancouver, Richmond, North Vancouver, Coquitlam, & Abbotsford.
