Our Committees

The Social Committee builds connections and team spirit through social events that can involve staff, family and clients. Some of our recent events include potlucks, bowling, softball, soccer, annual holiday parties and company picnics.

Corporate Activity for the Respect of the Environment and Society (CARES) is actively involved in initiatives that contribute to society. We participate in Movember, Adopt-a-Family, Vancouver Sun Run, and CIBCRun for the Cure, and have collected donations for local food and clothing banks. Our fundraising events for local charities have included coffee and waffle mornings, summer BBQs and cookie bake-offs.

The Health and Safety Committee ensures a safe, secure, clean, and accessible environment for staff and clients. Along with encouraging a healthy work/life balance, we are a strong advocate for the prevention of workplace incidents. We provide First Aid/CPR training to staff, complete annual external inspections, and run emergency training procedures.
We nurture an environment of inclusion, embracing all cultures, ethnicities, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, marital/parental statuses, ages and disabilities. We work diligently to provide the knowledge, skills, and training necessary to increase and maintain our cultural understanding, appreciation, and respect for all differences and similarities in beliefs, values, and best practices.
